Simple comfort food. Fresh butternut squash cut into thick slices, dipped in an egg milk batter and dredged in cornmeal and flour. They fry golden, fragrant and delicious.

This is a free online recipe. It is a Coleslaw recipe that is similar to that of what is being served in KFC fast food outlet. KFC has popularized the coleslaw. This is especially true in Asian Countries such as Malaysia and Singapore where coleslaw is not part of their traditional cuisines.

The following are the ingredients required for making coleslaw:

1. 1/4 cup of white Sugar

2. 1 Cabbage that is shredded

3. 1/4 teaspoon of Pepper

4. 1 cup of carrots that is shredded

5. 1/2 teaspoon of Salt

6. 1 cup of Mayonnaise

7. 1/2 cup of Milk

8. 1/2 teaspoon of Celery seed

9. 3 tablespoons of dry minced Onions

10. 1/2 cup of Buttermilk

11. 2 or 3 drops of Tabasco sauce

The following is the recipe method instruction for making the coleslaw:

1. Slice cabbage into thin strips. Sprinkle in some shredded carrots and sugar.

2. Next, sprinkle pepper and salt in. Pour in some milk. Cover with a lid and let it chill in the refrigerator for about a quarter of an hour.

3. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, Tabasco, celery seed, minced onion and buttermilk together.

4. Mix the above with the cabbage mixture. Mix it well.

5. Finally, put the mixture into the refrigerator again. Leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Before serving, drain away some of the dressing first. Please note that this coleslaw cannot last very long. It should be consumed within a day. Do not keep it for more than 24 hours.
